Our Churches, Young People and Families.

Our aim is to offer to children, young people and families, support as they share in the pattern of the church year, worship and social activities.

Young People are welcome at both Churches every Sunday. At 10:00am at St. Michael's we run a "Children's Church" in our Parish Room where our team of volunteers offer to look after small children during the first part of the service. They will be involved in a simple activity related to church and will rejoin their parents/carers in church at the Eucharistic Prayer for the remainder of the service. However, on Sundays when we have a Baptism we have all age worship in celebration of welcoming a new member to the Christian Family.

In co-operation with the local Methodist and Baptist Churches a Sunday Young Persons Club has been started for children aged between 5 and 12. The Club meets on the second Sunday of each month currently at the Methodidst Church, between 11:00 and 12:00 noon. There are a varity of activities including story time, painting and play.
